Supermarket Sweep or the Great British Baking Show?

It’s that time of year. The holidays are upon us.

There is SO MUCH TO DO – and this year, most of us are doing even more than ever before.

We’re navigating our lives under incredible pressure and restrictions. It can feel like being on Supermarket Sweep but all the stuff is in the wrong isles, it’s labeled in another language, and the lights are strobing.

Also, people are yelling at you to go faster and put more stuff in the cart, and meanwhile, you’re just trying not to trip on the spilled juice in aisle 3.

But you know if you can just hang in there and keep going, you’re going to win a prize, dang it! That thought alone is what keeps you going. And so you soldier on.

What I’m trying to say is, this year has been hard. Really hard.

That’s why it’s so important to take time for yourself and recharge. To regain your bearings and decide if Supermarket Sweep is even the game show you want to be on in the first place.

It’s a good time to take stock of your life and put in place some anchors that will help you achieve what you want in the coming year.

Especially if you’re looking to be on some other channel, enjoying more of a Great British Baking Show experience, for example.

In my opinion, this doesn’t have to feel like hard work, and it shouldn’t be something you dread.

Looking back on the year and forward to the new one can feel more like a nice break – a chance to acknowledge all your hard work – the stuff that went well and the stuff that sucked, and dream how you want your next year to feel.

It can be a time that you learn new skills that set you up to succeed and claim that new experience.

Taking the time to reflect and decide from a space of calm clarity is not a luxury – it’s a necessity if you want to have more control over the trajectory of your life.

Because it’s really hard to find yourself Star Baker of the Great British Baking Show in the coming year if you’re still racing around on Supermarket Sweep hunting for danishes that are mislabeled.

If you read that last line and felt like, “Oh no! I have been the person racing after mislabeled danishes!” you are not alone.

Here’s what you can do to pause the craziness and get a handle on your life right now:

  1. Take a deep breath in for 4 seconds, hold it for 2 seconds, try to breathe in a little bit more, and then release your breath in an audible sigh.
Do this 4 times, and notice how your senses calm and it’s a lot easier to be still, just for now.

  2. Let yourself smile because the first part of switching gears is recognizing it’s time to switch gears. It’s time for some self-care and love, baby! No more craziness!

  3. Check out the Talisman Transformation Method program, which is designed to support and guide you through the personal shifts you need to make in order to transform your confidence, awareness, and ability to manifest what you want in life.

This winter, why not give yourself the gift of time for yourself where you get to explore your inner world and choose your trajectory in the coming year?

A time that you get to appreciate yourself, celebrate your growth, and meet new people who raise your spirits and amplify your intentions for joy, confidence, and success.

Experiences that feel fun, nurturing, helpful, and that teach you to set your space for feeling confident, curious, and happy in your everyday life.

A time that you get to practice new skills to open up your world of possibilities in ways you can’t even imagine yet. So that you start creating perfect opportunities and letting in more and more great things habitually. 😊

All of this is waiting for you in the Talisman Transformation Method Program. The journey begins on December 14th.

Apply now and make sure you’re in the room with us as we create a nourishing, grounded new year.

Passing you a (clearly labeled) danish,
Blaze
